Our Team

Founder: Ron Thomas
Ron Thomas is the founder of Romar Spotlight Productions. Recipient of U.S. Small Business Administration’s Vision 2000 Award of Excellence in Business Development, Mr. Thomas was a former radio talk show host turned film maker. For eight years, he hosted a radio program for entrepreneurs in New York City. His guests included Academy Award winner and producer of JAWS, David Brown; the late, renowned author and publisher Helen Gurley Brown; former professional basketball player, Albert King; and many more. Aside from producing and directing educational documentary films, Mr. Thomas is also an educator with two masters degrees.

Associate Producer: Marian C. Burnbaum
An attorney and a former Editor-in-Chief of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and the Journal of Paralegal Education and Practice, Marian C. Burnbaum edits, writes, and produces educational documentary films for Romar Spotlight Productions. She also interviews guests for Romar. Ms. Burnbaum is also the assistant director of Romar. In addition, she is an educational administrator and narrates audiobooks in her spare time.
